Principles and Practices
Our training specialises in helping you use systemic, social constructionist and narrative practices to improve the learning and performance outcomes of the people you work with.
Systemic
Systemic practices help you and your client understand the wider social context or ‘system’ within which they want to make progress and improve. Our training helps you work with your client as a ‘person-in-relationship’ by equipping you with a whole new repertoire of questioning techniques and coaching skills.
Social Constructionist
Social constructionist principles help you see that the realities we live by are created and sustained by the conversations we hold and the language we use. Our training gives you the insight to help clients construct their future using language that’s meaningful, relevant and productive for them.
Narrative
Narrative principles help you recognise the many powerful ways of authoring and co-authoring the story of performance. Our training equips you to assist clients in achieving their goals using the potential of individual, collaborative and corporate story-making to excite, engage and motivate sustainable performance.

Bespoke Programmes

Here are some examples:
Introductory Workshop
As systemic, constructionist and narrative practices are new to many clients, we welcome requests for a short introduction to them. A 1 Day Workshop gives you the chance to understand and evaluate the potential of our approach for the context in which you work.
Foundation Skills Workshop
To give you a foundation of competence, we recommend a 2-3 Day Workshop to cover all the basic concepts and skills. To enable improvement in practice, we strongly recommend that participants bring real and current examples of their work to the programme.
Advanced Skills Programme
If you want to integrate systemic, constructionist and narrative principles and practices in your approach, we recommend a professional development programme of 3 x 1-2 Day Workshops spaced over a period of 3-4 months. This gives you the opportunity to apply ideas and learn from real experience.
